Synergy Baku

The Synergy Baku Cycling Project is ready for the next race, the 6th Internationale Oberösterreichrundfahrt, June 18 to 21 in Austria. The race opens on Thursday with a short stage, from the main square of Linz to the local Pöstlingberg’s hill.

As at last Sunday’s GP Judendorf, young Azeri riders Elgun Alizada, Enver Asanov, Ismail Iliasov and Tural Isgandarov will be supporting veteran Alex Surutkovych. They will be joined by Markus Eibegger, who returned to action at the Tour of Slovakia last week.

“We will see how much Markus has improved his form,” said Sports Director Andrej Hauptman. “I think he will be much better than in Slovakia. Alex is also doing well, he was the only one of our team finishing the GP Judendorf. The other riders will go on with their racing experience programme and try to help Eibegger and Surutkovych”.
